Use of permanent cookies
With a permanent cookie we are able to recognise you the next time you visit our website. This configures the website specifically to your preferences. Even if you have given permission for us to place cookies on your device, we are able to ‘remember’ this by means of a cookie. This means that you do not need to update your preferences each time you visit the website. This saves time and improves your user experience of the website. You can remove permanent cookies at any time by adjusting the settings of your browser.
Use of session cookies
We use session cookies to help us see which parts of the website you have visited. This helps us to adapt our services to the surfing behaviour of our visitors, where possible. Cookies of this type are removed automatically, as soon as you close your browser.
Our own tracking cookies
We ask your permission to place our own cookies on your device. Tracking cookies can be retrieved when you visit a website in our network. This means that we can learn that you have visited another particular website (or websites) in our network. The profile built up through this is not linked to your name, address, e-mail address etc.; it is intended solely for matching advertising that is relevant to you to your profile.
Third-party tracking cookies
We ask your permission to place advertisers’ tracking cookies on your device. This profile is partly created on the basis of comparable information that they get from any visits you make to other websites from their network. This profile is not linked to any name, address, e-mail address or other data obtained from us; it is solely for matching advertising that is as relevant as possible to you to your profile.
